Hatsukokoro Komorebi Blue 1 Damascus Gyuto 210mm

"Komorebi" refers to the effect of sunlight streaming between tree branches and leaves, which is a beautiful reference to describe the look of this knife series. Hand forged from Aogami #1 core steel and handmade suminagashi damascus cladding. The blade face is finished with a very reflective polish giving the damascus a three dimensional effect when viewing. These have a very generous heel height giving the user lots of knuckle clearance and blade life. These have a nice distal taper to the spine and are ground very thin. The fit and finish is stellar with rounded spine and choil, fitted with an octagonal ebony and blonde horn ferrule.
