Matsubara

Matsubara Knives are produced by Fouth Generation Katsuo Tanaka located in Omura City, in the Nagasaki Prefecture of Japan. Passing on the traditions of his elders he not only produces outstanding kitchen knives but also sickles and other tools. Matsubara knives are produced very traditionally and carries out all processes in house from laminating to sharpening. His knives have great heat treatment, unique forged geometry, and very tall profiles.
