Elijah Durso-Sabina (Definition Forge) is a local Colorado maker who focuses on hand forged kitchen tools. Elijah is professionally a researcher in quantum error correction by day and tool maker after hours. He has been coming into our shop over the years sharing his creations, its been a joy to see the evolution of his work over time.

This blade is a hand forged integral mosaic damascus chefs knife made from two different steel combinations. The middle "river" portion uses 1084/15n20 high carbon steels and the "pebble" portion is canister damascus made from 52100 and 1090 high carbon steels. These steels were laminated together to give a river and pebble effect. The grind is thin a deeply etched finish. The hybrid western handle is made from cocobolo wood and buffalo horn ferrule. This knife is very nimble with a flatter edge profile.
