Kawamura Hamono was founded in 1926 in Sakai. Kikumori is praised for their beautiful craftsmanship utilizing traditional techniques specific to their region. Sakai Kikumori Kikuzuki is made from Aogami #1 steel core and cladded in iron damascus forged by master Yoshikazu Tanaka. The knife is fitted with a Ho wood octagonal handle and buffalo horn ferrule.
