Kawamura Hamono was founded in 1926 in Sakai. Kikumori is praised for their beautiful craftsmanship utilizing traditional techniques specific to their region. Sakai Kikumori Nihonko is made from Mono Japanese Nihonko Steel (high carbon). One of Kikumoris most popular lines, its an excellent, affordable choice for professionals. These knives sharpen very quickly, have nice edge holding ability, and are very durable. Full tang riveted handles with pakka wood.
