Located in Echizen, Yu Kurosaki forges high performance blades true to the tradition of his region but also incorporating new finishing techniques, creating some of the most unique and beautiful blades available.
This petty is hammer forged from blue super carbon steel (aogami super) and cladded in stainless steel. Aogami super has a hardness rating at 63-64 HRC and has very long edge life. The blade is finished with a hammered kurouchi style finish. The handle is octagonal rosewood and black pakka ferrule.
