Elijah Durso-Sabina (Definition Forge) is a local Colorado maker who focuses on hand forged kitchen tools. Elijah is professionally a researcher in quantum error correction by day and tool maker after hours. He has been coming into our shop over the years sharing his creations, it's been a joy to see the evolution of his work over time.
This blade is a hand forged integral from a Cru Forge-V core steel cladded in wrought iron with a thin layer of nickel. The blade is ground thin and coffee etched to bring out a ton of character and layers in the wrought iron. The core steel is hardened to ~64hrc. The handle is shaped from Mopane wood.
