Sakai Takayuki Kengata is forged from a core steel of aogami super steel (blue super) and cladded in stainless steel. Treated to 63-64hrc, this steel has incredibly long lived egde life and durability. The cladding is finished with kurouchi and hammered tsuchime finish. Fitted with an octagonal handle made from zelkova and pakka wood ferrule.
