This blade is new old stock we acquired in 2016 direct from Ikeda-san in person. The blade is White 2 steel mizu honyaki with a fuji hamon . Sharpened by Shotaro Nomura. The finish is bright but some scratch pattern from grinding can be seen. The handle was made in house using spalted maple burl.
