Yu Kurosaki is located in Echizen, Japan. His new line Gekko is forged from HAP40 and cladded in soft stainless. HAP40 is a semi stainless steel that has incredibly long edge life and is very tough despite its hardness (65hrc). The core steel will form a patina slowly over time. The blade is convexly sharpened with a migaki finish. Fitted with octagonal oak handles.
