Takahiro Nihei

Former apprentice of Yoshikane Hamono, Nihei San now works alone in his shop based in Fukushima Japan. One of our favorite makers and a super kind gentleman, his knives have very smooth grinds, great distal taper and unique edge profiles.

Takada no Hamono

With performance to match the beauty, Takada is cooking up one of a kind creations with some of the best performance we've ever experienced. His original creation "Suiboku" harnesses a polishing technique that brings out all of the fine details in the iron and carbon steels.

Jiro Nakagawa

One man workshop based in Nagano, Japan producing limited and highly sought after knives. Water quenched hand laminated white steel, stone finished bevels and impeccable geometry.
