The Hatsukokuro Hayabusa series is made from ATS-34 stainless steel. A very popular steel to use for cutting tools, it has great edge formation and sharpening ability while remaining durable. This allows the knife to be ground very thin for performance without becoming too delicate. The blade has a clean satin finish, which is great for the price. This series comes fitted with one piece octagonal ebony handles.
