The Masakage Yuki is forged by Kato san out of Shirogami #2 (white) steel. Cladded with stainless steel makes these knives very low maintenance. Workhorse style grinds make this blade a perfect match for a large range of tasks. Shirogami is known for its ability to take a razor sharp edge and ease of sharpening. Hardness rated at 62-63 hrc. Handle is magnolia oval with a red pakka wood ferrule.
