Grand Chef Series SP by Sakai Takayuki is a professional series of knives using high grade Bohler-Uddeholm stainless steel hardened to 61 HRC. This steel has very fine grain, good toughness and excellent edge life. Many professionals adore this series for its long lasting edge. The blade is ground thin and the blade face is hollow ground on the right side for excellent food release. The riveted western handle is made from Arizona desert ironwood, crafted by woodworker Sugihara.
