The Hatsukokuro Hayabusa series is made from ATS34 stainless steel. Very popular steel to use for cutting tools, it has great edge formation and sharpenability while remaining durable. This allows the knife to be ground very thin for performace without becoming too delicate. The blade has a clean sating finish and great finishing work for the price. This series comes fitted with one piece octagonal ebony handles.
