The Ryusen Oukokuryu series is one of the highest offerings by Ryusen Hamono. This series is made using high performance SG2 steel laminated in high polished stainless raindrop damascus. SG2 (Super Gold II) Is known for its high corrosion resistance, long edge life, and sharpness comparable to purer carbon steels. These blades have an amazing cutting feel and balance in hand due to the weighted handle. The handle is a hybrid bolstered wa handle featuring stabilized buckeye burl wood and mirror polished bolsters and end cap.
