This honyaki blade was hand forged by Master Shogo Yamatsuka from Ginsan stainless steel. The sharpening was done by Master Hirotsugu Tosa with a full mirror finish on both sides. The blade details are carefully cared for and polished to perfection. The handle and saya are made from high quality ebony and pure silver etched accents. This is traditional Sakai craftmanship at its highest form.
