One of a kind piece, hand engraved by Michiko Kubota of Sakai Takayuki. Michiko San's work is unmistakable and each engraving takes an hours of work from conception to finished product. Each knife comes with a custom box, all hand personalized by Michiko.
This blade is hand forged from white 2 steel laminated in soft iron with a black kurouchi finish. These engravings have a special 24k gold inlay inside for striking contrast. The handle is octagonal ebony with horn ferrule.
