Yoshimi Kato , son of Hiroshi Kato, is a very talented bladesmith from Echizen Japan. This line is hand forged from VG10 steel and cladded in a stainless nickel damascus. The blade has a deep etch to create high contrast between the layers of damascus. This series is lightweight and nimble overall with very thin grinds. The handle is made from walnut wood with a water buffalo horn ferrule.
