The Masakage Kumo is forged by Katsushige Anryu out of VG-10 steel. "Kumo" means cloudy, describing the high contrast raindrop patterned damascus that gives these blades a stormy sky look. Hardness rating of 61-62 hrc is a great balance of hardness and durability. Rosewood octagonal handle with a pakka wood ferrule.

Katsushige Anryu is a fourth generation blacksmith from Takefu. He trained under his father Katsutoshi Anryu and has been making blades for over 50 years.
