Yu Kurosaki Raijin Gyuto 240mm

Located in Echizen, Yu Kurosaki forges high performance blades true to the tradition of his region but also incorporating new finishing techniques, creating some of the most unique and beautiful blades available.

His line Raijin, meaning "Thunder", Is forged from Takefu cobalt special steel and cladded in soft stainless. Cobalt special steel is fully stainless, has improved wear resistance over VG10, and has good durability. Cobalt special is rated at 63-64 HRC. Named "Raijin" for its unique and random tsuchime pattern. Fitted with octagonal rosewood handles.
