Muneishi Cutlery Mfg. is located in Tosa, Japan and has been established since 1955. Muneishi kitchen knives are made by 3rd generation Kosuke Muneishi.
This series is made from hammer forged Aogami (Blue) #2 steel, HRC 63-64, cladded in iron damascus steel with kurouchi finish. Stiff blades with very nice grinds, highly recommended for everyone from first time carbon owners to more experienced users. Comes fitted with oval cherry wood and red pakka wood handle.
