Elijah Durso-Sabina (Definition Forge) is a local Colorado maker who focuses on hand forged kitchen tools. Elijah is professionally a researcher in quantum error correction by day and tool maker after hours. He has been coming into our shop over the years sharing his creations, its been a joy to see the evolution of his work over time.

This blade is a hand forged and laminated chef knife made using a core of 80CrV2 with wrought iron cladding hardened to 61hrc. The blade had a dramatic distal taper and forged integral neck that is great for a pinch grip. The finish is etched and has tons of fine detail and character running throughout. The handle is a hybrid style made from Burmese rosewood
