Preparation Tips:
- bloom whisk in hot water before whisking to soften bamboo tines
- water should be 70-80°C for optimal foam, flavor extraction, and to not scorch matcha
- use 3g of matcha/hojicha with 45-50ml of water
- wash and dry the whisk after use, storing on the whisk stand to maintain shape and longevity
Storage Tips:
Matcha is super delicate, and should be stored airtight in cool, dry place and away from light to keep optimal freshness. We kindly ask you not to store in transparent containers.
Opened matcha should be used within 1 month. Unopened matcha can be kept in the fridge for 6 months. Anything beyond that time frame risks matcha deterioration in quality and taste.
