Shigehiro x Nakagawa White 2 Kasumi Santoku 170mm

This series is made from Shirogami 2 steel laminated in soft iron forged by Master Satoshi Nakagawa. The blade is sharpened by Master Shigehiro Kasahara in Sakai Japan. The blades are sharpened thin with convex sides. The So Bokashi Kasumi finish is executed with a special hinoki wheel that creates a foggy finish and is personal to Sakai craftsmen. The spine and choil are polished very nicely. Fitted with magnolia wood handle and colored buffalo horn ferrule. For those looking for a well made traditional Sakai made knife.
