Sakai Takayuki Sanpou is a new series featuring the younger generation of Takayuki blacksmiths and sharpeners. Traditional techniques and mentality with a new take by the young craftsmen, they've created a really unique and very functional product. The blade is hand forged from White #2 cladded in iron hardened to 63hrc. The blade is full lightly convexed sharpened for great food separation. The blade face is full kasumi finished with polished spine and choil. The handle is one piece wenge octagonal.
