Yoshimi Kato, son of Hiroshi Kato, is a very talented bladesmith from Echizen Japan. This line is hand forged from VG10 steel and cladded in a stainless nickel damascus. The blade has a deep etch to create high contrast between the layers of damascus. This series is lightweight and nimble overall with very thin grinds. The handle is walnut and pakka octagonal suitable for both right or left hand users.
