Munetoshi Knives are made by Kouiti Turumaki in Sanjo Niigata. Mr. Turumaki began blacksmithing for his father we he was only 15 years old and has over 50 years of experience under his belt now. His process is very traditional in the same workshop used by his family for 3 generations. All forging done in coal and all of his blades are water quenched.
