Maruoyama shiro suita are one of our personal favorites and one we use in our sharpening workshop daily. Very responsive stone with great speed and buttery feedback. Very forgiving and good for beginners. Leaves a silvery kasumi finish and very nice refined but toothy edge. This one is slightly finer, cleaner, and leaves amazin g contrast between the core and cladding. Some black renge on the surface :)
