Tsunehisa AS line is forged from Aogami super steel and cladded in stainless. Hardness rating is ~63 hrc. These knives have great edge retention and sharpenability. The blade is finished with a tsuchime hammered pattern with kurouchi black finish. They are fitted with oval rosewood and maple ferrule handles.
