Tsunehisa ginsan series is forged from Ginsan steel ( ~61 HRC) and cladded in stainless. The steel on this line sharpens really beautifully and has great toughness. The blade has a "nashiji" (skin of Asian Pear) finish with texture remaining from forging. The handle is fitted with a one piece octagonal handle made from high quality oak wood.
