"When washing, do not was with other items. Do not leave it wet. Do no use synthetic detergents, flourescent whitening agents, or bleach. After washing, reshape and dry in the shade. There may be some shrinkage after washing. Tenugui ends are left uncut, so fraying will occur. By cutting and trimming frequently, the fraying will settle and become fringe."
