Dakota Thornton is a Denver based chef and part time bladesmith. As an avid Japanese knife collector and user, he has had long experience in the understandings of Japanese kitchen knife geometry and how they function. This experience he had gained through use, contributes to the designs in his knives.

The Akichita were the protectors and cultural leaders of the Sioux native Americans. By demonstrating your leadership and bravery, the tribe would choose you to become their guardian.
