Kota Knives "Nenemehkiwe" Sujihiki 270mm

Dakota Thornton is a Denver based chef and part time bladesmith. As an avid Japanese knife collector and user, he has had long experience in the understandings of Japanese kitchen knife geometry and how they function. This experience he had gained through use, contributes to the designs in his knives.

Nenemehkiwe the great spirit thunderbird brought powerful storms and thunder to the Sauk native peoples. While the thunder beings were spirits to be feared, they also brought vital rains to help the corn grow.
