Yoshikane Kurouchi Tsuchime White #2 Gyuto 180mm Chestnut Handle
Yoshikane Hamono is located in Sanjo, Niigata and founded in 1919. It is lead by Mr. Kazuomi Yoshida who continues to excel and evolve in making high grade kitchen knives.
This line is forged from a core steel of shirogami 2 (white 2) with iron cladding rated at 62-63 hrc. The blade has tsuchime and a kurouchi finish. Yoshikane shirogami has very good toughness and incredible cutting feel to do its subtle convexity. Fitted with octagonal burnt chestnut and buffalo horn ferrule.
