Definition Forge "Peacock" Feather Damascus Chef 175mm

Elijah Durso-Sabina (Definition Forge) is a local Colorado maker who focuses on hand forged kitchen tools. Elijah is professionally a researcher in quantum error correction by day and tool maker after hours. He has been coming into our shop over the years sharing his creations, its been a joy to see the evolution of his work over time.

This blade is a hand forged integral damascus made from 1084 and 15n20 high carbon steels hardened to 62hrc.. This blade was made in collaboration with damascus specialist Joshua Prince. The pattern is a combined feather that gives the aesthetic of a Peacock feather. The blade features a full integral bolster which displays the damascus pattern running throughout.  The hybrid handle is made from chittum burl.
