Makoto Samidorizuki SG STRIX Santoku 165mm

Makoto Kurosaki is an Echizen based bladesmith who trained under the famed Hiroshi Kato.
This blade was made from SPG-Strix powdered steel. Strix is a new steel from Takefu steel company to have improved sharpenability, wear and corrosion resistance, and toughness compared to powdered steels in the past. The blade has a unique hammered finish that has a look similar to origami. Very well balanced geometry providing equal amounts of precision and practicality. Fitted with an octagonal handle made form ebony with green and natural wood accents.
