Masutani knives are made in Echizen Japan and offer incredible value. The blade is forged from VG1 core steel with stainless damascus cladding. The finish is nashiji (forged finish) with great texture and detail. VG1 is a pure fine grain stainless steel with very good sharpness and durability. This series is fitted with a one piece octagonal handle made from high quality oak wood.
