Marukin’s Mentsuyu (Ready-to-Use Tsuyu) is an umami-packed, soy-based sauce for Japanese noodles. Bottled mentsuyu, in general, comes in two types, straight or concentrated, and this one is the straight type that can be used without diluting! It’s made by carefully blending premium soy sauce and exquisite dashi broth crafted with high grade ingredients sourced from all over Japan—bonito flakes from Makurazaki in Kagoshima Prefecture and Yaizu in Shizuoka Prefecture, sardines from Kumamoto Prefecture, and kombu kelp from Hokkaido. It contains no preservatives or artificial flavorings.

Marukin’s Mentsuyu can be used for all styles; hot or cold, and for dipping style noodles and noodle soup.
