Muneishi Cutlery Mfg. is located in Tosa, Japan and has been established since 1955. Muneishi kitchen knives are made by 3rd generation Kosuke Muneishi. This series is made from hammer forged Aogami (Blue) #2 steel, HRC 63-64, cladded in stainless steel to help with ease of maintenance. Stiff blades with very nice grinds, highly recommended for everyone from first time carbon owners to more experienced users. Very nice value! Comes fitted with oval cherry and black pakka wood handle.
