This sweet and savory sauce made to accompany tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlets) is certified JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standard) Organic by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries. Its producer, Sennari Vinegar Brewery, specializes in a conventional method that naturally brews vinegar using local water and slowly ages it over a long period. This results in a taste characterized by a mild sourness and rich umami. With their house-made organic rice and apple cider vinegars as its base, Organic Tonkatsu Sauce also features an abundance of organically grown vegetables and fruits, including tomatoes, onions, and carrots. These quality ingredients and their time-honored production methods result in the sauce’s superior flavor—elegantly profound, sweet, and packed with umami. Its thick texture and syrupy flavor naturally come from the organic ingredients.
No artificial-flavorings, seasonings or colorings are used.
Though originally developed as a tonkatsu sauce, it can be used in a variety of other ways. This nutritious and scrumptious sauce will spice up your dishes instantly.

Made by Sennari Vinegar Brewery
To better find the perfect ingredients for brewing a pure rice vinegar, Sennari moved its brewery to the mountainside of Hiroshima. Sennari then partnered with select organic rice farmers that cultivated a specific rice culver.
Today, Sennari is known as one of the best small-batch pure vinegar breweries in Japan.
