Kawamura Hamono was founded in 1926 in Sakai. Kikumori is praised for their beautiful craftsmanship utilizing traditional techniques specific to their region. Sakai Kikumori Gokujou series is forged from SK high carbon mono steel. The blade has a hairline migaki finish that is simple, functional and easy to restore after use. This is a great example of a Traditional Sakai made knife with excellent fit and finish. Comes fitted with rivited ebony handle.
