Forged in Sakai by Master Itsuo Doi from Aogami #2 steel. Doi Sans work showcases superb heat treatment and traditional techniques. Cold hammering techniques are still practiced at the Sakai Takayuki company that strengthens and tightens the steel structure. Genbu series deba has the thickness of a typical deba its size but with an updated profile and a sakimaru style tip. The blade face is finished in a mirror polish. Comes with an ebony octagonal handle and matching black lacquered saya included.
