Elijah Durso-Sabina (Definition Forge) is a local Colorado maker who focuses on hand forged kitchen tools. Elijah is professionally a researcher in quantum error correction by day and tool maker after hours. He has been coming into our shop over the years sharing his creations, it's been a joy to see the evolution of his work over time.
This blade is a hand forged damascus from alternating steels of 1084 and 15n20 high carbon steels. The blade features a rustic fininshed forged bolster and nice distal taper. The blade is ground thin at the edge but left thicker on the spine showcasing its handmade nature. The handle is made from one piece ironwood.
